Last Monday, New York State Police Trooper Nicholas Clark, age 29, was on the scene of a domestic dispute south of Corning, New York near the Pennsylvania border, around 3:30 a.m.
A 911 call was made by 43-year-old Steven Kiley's wife. Kiley, according to police, shot Clark before apparently taking his own life.
Trooper Clark is survive by his parents and younger brother.
The men and women of the Brentwood Police Department offer our most sincere condolences to the family of Trooper Clark and to his brother and sister law enforcement family with the New York State Police.
