The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Brentwood, NH, will be in session at the Brentwood Town Office on Saturday February 26th from 10:00am - 10:30am. This Session will address Checklist items and registration of voters.
The Supervisors will be meeting to update the voter checklist for the Town Election in March, to include new voter registrations, change of party, and address changes. Current voters will bring photo ID. Newly registering voters need proof of residence, citizenship, age, and photo ID.
This will be the last session for corrections and registration before the Town Election on March 8th, 2021.

The Town Clerk/Tax Collector of Brentwood has an opening for a part-time assistant clerk. Successful candidate must enjoy working with the public and be able to work in a multi-tasked customer service-oriented office. Candidate must have a HS diploma or equivalent. Previous office and computer experience preferable. Position to start tentatively January 31, 2022, at 24-32 hrs. per week/$16-18.00 hr.

FILING DATES FOR TOWN & SCHOOL OFFICES The Town and School District governing bodies need citizens who are willing to file for and serve in various positions. Those who intend to file for office, or are thinking about it, need to know that the 10-day filing period begins on Wednesday, January 19 , 2021 and ends on Friday, January 28, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
To file for Town Office: Candidates must file with Town Clerk Daphne Woss during regular office hours. The following positions are open:
Moderator 1 for 2 years
Board of Selectmen 1 for 2 years
Board of Selectmen 1 for 3 years
Cemetery Trustees 1 for 3 years
Library Trustees 1 for 3 years
Library Trustee 1 for 1 year
Municipal Budget Committee 2 for 3 years
Planning Board 2 for 3 years
Planning Board 1 for 1 year
Trustee of the Trust Funds 1 for 3 years
Supervisor of the Checklist 1 for 6 years
Note: Open positions do not imply that the incumbents are leaving; it simply means their terms are up, and they must stand for re-election.
To File for School Office: Candidates must file during the same ten day period. Brentwood School District Officers may file with School Clerk Daphne Woss; filing may be done at the town clerk office during regular office hours.

In order to protect the citizens of Brentwood and to facilitate snow removal and sanding operations there will be no parking allowed on any public street within the Town of Brentwood during the period of November 1 to April 15.

Tax bills were mailed out today. The due date is 12/01/2021. The tax rate was set at 22.24, which is $.95 less than the previous rate. If you do not receive your bill within the next 2 weeks, please let the office know. You may look at or pay your bill online at brentwoodnh.gov. If you believe that you should have a credit on your account or you need to make any changes (ex. name misspelled, billing address updates) please contact the office asap at (603) 642-6400 ext 114.
